Its only been about 3 weeks in the new year and I'm already hearing new music in my ears. Since I am THE biggest music fan , I always look on the net and there is never one place where I can get new music like talking about it. But since I'm such a nice person I have decided to give all the dirt on the latest news and you even get a chance to listen to it all! So here are some of the new songs by up and coming artist and songs by artist you already know and love. Here is my video pick of the week too. I personally love this video. It's like they saw a Gap commercial and was on something and this is what they saw. I don't know where these guys come from but they named themselves "Vampire Weekend" and their song is called "A-Punk". Hope we ain't offend nobody with that name.
So there has been some very serious late speculation that Jay-z and Beyonce have shall we say, jumped the broom. Every other new source in the world was ridiculously late on reporting this but MediaTakeOut.com. So many have doubted the gossip site that they have also , unfortunately, underestimated them. Since no one else will give them their due props and credit, I will.
According to an article that MediaTakeOut.com posted a month ago on December 18th,2007, the two got married in Paris at an
exclusive ceremony with just the 2 of them and a couple of close friends and family. Instead of getting wedding bands, the got initials tat toed on there index fingers as a symbolic statement. Man talk about keeping your wedding a secret. Now MediaTakeOut is reporting that Beyonce may have gotten bodied by Jay-z and is knocked up. Yea, she upgrading him alright. Well, we will see if they are right,AGAIN!
We have fallin in love with these videos of ordinary people either making an ass out of themselves, Chris Crocker, doing something amazing, or it just being damn funny. Here's your viral video of the week of a girl jumping rope. Even in my prime at the tender age of 10, I still couldn't jump this fast. Man ...I can't even see the rope! Go,little child, GO!
With the new year comes new movies, new actors and breakout performances. Katherine Heigl is not really new to the acting scene, seeing as though she played on Grey's Anatomy for what felt like forever, but she is up and coming. I personally found Knocked Up to be almost as funny as Superbad, and Superbad was funny! Her new movie looks very delightful and is gaining a lot of media attention. It's called 27 Dresses and its about her being the maid of honor at all her friends weddings 27 times, wearing 27 different dresses. Sounds boring right?! Nope it actually looks pretty refreshing and enjoyable. Don't take my word for it though. Check out the trailer.
Cloverfield
There has been so much media attention on this movie, it is crazy! I have yet to figure out exactly what its about but maybe you will. As far as i can see we, America, are being attacked , AGAIN! Of course in New York City, because that's the most likely target for aliens attack, and our forever symbolic Lady Liberty's head gets cut off and you hear somebody screaming "OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!"Well decide for yourself if you want to see it but i must admit i am very intrigued.
Iron Man
Don't you wish sometimes that you were the one sitting and drawing for hours on end when you where younger. Well i do because the King of Comics himself, Stan Lee, is still making ridiculous amounts of money from his revolutionaryMarvel characters. I personally never really liked Iron Man, still don't but there are tons of other people, including my father, who grew up with these characters and are highly anticipating this movie. Who plays Tony Stark you ask? It is none other than Robert Downey Jr. I may consider giving it a chance but hows about you guys check out the trailer.
Hellboy II: Rise of the Golden Army
Everyone had mixed feelings about the first Hellboybut I think it's going to be much better the second time around. I actually think this movie is quite creative as far as the characters and the villains go. The latest villain looks like Sefiroth from Final Fantasy 7. Why is the world's only hope always protected by the government or is a secret society or something?
Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay
Yes they made a sequel and yes they are back. I loved Harold and Kumar, it was a lot of explicit comedy but what college movie isn't nowadays? I mean that's all we do is party and stay out all night in real life any way right? This time they were on their way to Amsterdam to stalk the girl from the first movie and are mistaken for terrorist when they attempt to sneak a bong on the plane. I hope this movie is funny because it looks funny. Don't you hate sequels that mess up the beauty of the first one? WARNING: PARENTAL DISCRETION IS ADVISED! DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU
Ok, so I know I haven't posted anything on here for awhile but I'm Back! So first starting off I would like to congrats to Christina Aguilera and her husband (whose name no one really knows) on their new little bundle of joy. Whose name, according to omg! ,is Max Liron Bratman.
Well it's not that bad. Since we are on the topic of pregnancy, has anyone also heard about the alleged Tyra Banks pregancy? Well according to MediaTakeout.com and I quote "First, a top Hollywood gossip reporter told MediaTakeOut.com that Tyra is taking two months off at the end of the summer for "personal reasons."And this weekend, one of the stylists at BET's .Honor awards caught a glimpse of Tyra's bare stomach - and she claims to have seen a baby bump. The insider told MediaTakeOut.com, "I say Tyra's stomach and it definitely had a bulge in it. And not the "I ate too much ice cream" bulge either ... It looked like she was carrying to me." What the hell is this , the new fad? I mean if carrying a child on your waist is the new fashion accessory, count me out. The "preggers" look is not cute to me at all. But congrats also to the people who are old enough to take care of their kids,Jamie Lynn Spears.
