Beading

Have you fallen in love with the intricate hobby called beading?

If so, here's a few helpful little tips to keep in mind. You know, before you head off to the hobby store for all the goodies.

Firstly, read up a little bit about beading. It's a whole wide world of beading out there. Trust me, you want to learn a little about the tools of the trade before you slip up and look like a newbie infront of the sales folk.

Secondly, the tools themselves. Here is a list of must-haves. A bead board, a bead tray, beading needles, twisted wire needles, beeswax, wire cutters, and flat-nose and rounded-nose pliers. There are other goodies needed; be sure to make notes when you read up about it.

Thirdly, if you are just starting out check up on the recommended moves for beginners. You know, like trying out a simple bead work as your first work of art and sticking to basic stitches like Brick stitch.

Be patient and persevere and this will be a fun little hobby that can bloom into a useful business.
