Did you know that telescopes are nothing new? They have been around for some centries now. Well there is a procedure out called lasik surgery. That uses a telescope. It is a procedure designed to help people see better. So instead of having glasses or contacts, that are a pain to find if you lose, you can get lasik surgery. It corrects your vision in a matter of minutes but it does have a hefty price tag. Why do they use a telescope for it you might ask? Because the human eye is large and in order for them to actually fully see where they are placing the laser, they must use something very high powered in order to correctly restore 20/20 vision to their patients.
