Here's a bit of PR at work. New pictures have been released, blah blah, look at Jake Gyllenhaal as the muscular prince of the famed game, yada yada.

First of, I don't remember Prince of Persia being that WWE-ish. It sure wouldn't have been easy for the game character to spring, prance and hop about with a sword if he was that beefed up.  Yea, I'd like to see him try to kill that horrid big boss in the arena with those beefacke arms. No can do, folks.

Secondly, I know the PR folk are trying really hard to promote the film but releasing a pic of him with beau Reese Witherspoon, an objeect of apparently great dislike for many many readers out there, is perhaps not the best way to go. It started out by criticizing his muscular build as 'trying too hard' and then everyone zooms into see his hand clingy girlfriend ... which is right about when people closed that browser to do better stuff. Like doing laundry, taking out trash, watching a snail cross the road.

Finally, since it is  called 'Prince of Persia', wouldn't it have been more appropriate to nab an actor with  Mediterranean or Persian looks for the role?
