I remember when the internet started to become a huge
phenomena… first there was AOL and then dsl came in and just annihilated the competition.
But with all the advancements in it you can’t help but wonder how it affected
the children who just wanted to chat with people they were playing online games
with. This sometimes went from innocent chatter to acts of pedophilia. The more
advanced the internet became, the more susceptible children became to getting
in harm’s way. That’s why I believe that all parents should not only have knowledge
of what their children are doing online but also have some kind of computer
knowledge. I suggest that all parents learn how to use parental controls on
their computers so they can protect their children. Not all danger is outside
the home.
