There are conflicting reports about the drug-addicted singer's health.
After keeling over in a faint and being rushed to hospital, two different
sources are now claiming doom and gloom for the young star.
Question is, what's really wrong with Amy?
Well, according to NewsDay, Mitch Winehouse mourns his daughter's
deteriorating health, stating that the young one just might have to use an
oxygen mask if she doesn't clean up her act.
The doctor's diagnosis as revealed by Daddy-o is that Amy has emphysema.
"The doctors have said that if
she had continued the way she was going she could have ended up an invalid -
she wouldn't have been able to breathe,"
Then there is the other source. If you read Welt
Online, the story gets a bit more colorful.
Apparently a "friend" told The Sun that the famous rock star just
might have tuberculosis.
I'm not so sure about that one, especially since it came through the dreaded
"friend / person close to so-and-so" source.
Whatever the case, we know the drugs and party lifestyle is affecting the singer's
health and it's come to the point pf "fight or fail" for Amy.
I hope they talk a bit more about the negative effects of drugs and reckless
partying; perhaps Amy can recover ad talk to youngsters about the damage done
to her lungs.
I only say this because stars like her are bad role models for young folks.
Kids want to emulate Amy and follow in her footsteps. Maybe it more was told
about the ill effects of party-hard, drug craziness, we can curb some of the
'drugs are cool' attitude of the young ones.
