 Elizabeth Taylor's Hospital Woes
You always hear about the young adult drama; Amy Winehouse snorts more coke, Lindsay to pose nude and of course, some crazy mishap with the Oops I did it again star. So it's surprising to hear about one of the true Hollywood Legends and her (possible) drug OD. Honestly, I was beginning to think the previous generations had it more together. Oh yea, Elizabeth Taylor was rushed to hospital after mixing alcohol and prescription drugs. According to the National Enquirer magazine, the 76-year-old actress woke her assistant at 4am on April 6 after she started vomiting and had trouble breathing. Apparently she was released later on in the same day. Hardly seems far to compare her to the young troubled stars though. Let's face it, she's survived the odds and made Hollywood History; how many actors nowadays can boast a capitalised “The” preceding their name? Romantic Blooms for Aniston  He may not be making major headlines for his movie career but he's certainly grabbing media attention. Orlando Bloom, with casting roles boasting wannabe pirate and elf, might just be hooking up with a very popular Friend. Jennifer Aniston to be precise. Herald Sun reports love-dovey vibes between Jennifer Aniston and the LoTR star. According to a source: "I saw them in a booth next to each other and Jen was looking at Orlando like he was her favorite person in the world. She looked like she wanted to grab him and make out with him!" Heather Mills loves USA  Someone's refusing to take a hint. Recently divorced and eager for a new chapter in life, Heather Mills has set her eyes on United States. Oh yea, she believes she's better off in the States. Quick question! Did she honestly miss the nasty crowd reception at the Miss USA Pageant? The jeers and boos, glaring looks? Hardly seems like the welcoming committee, does it? It could be worse. She could be setting house in US and getting her own talk show. That's when you start renting DVDs for telly entertainment. Outspoken Rupert Grint This was classic. Harry Potter's best bud and one of the main characters in the young magician series, Rupert Grint, was recently asked if he planned to make the big move to Hollywood. Nah, not really.  Wait, before you think he was being snobbish, read to the rest of his comments. Apparently he's scared of running into the Hollywood party gals, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. Grint said of meeting Lohan: “I met Lindsay last summer and she talked about herself a lot. She said she was going to win an Oscar before she turns 25. I just kept thinking, ‘But you can’t act’."

Here's irony for you. According to Hollyscoop, recent research might prove that Akon lied about being guilty! Surely you lied through your teeth to hide an actual crime, not to make up one! Yip, the site quotes investigative reporting by The Smoking Gun which show that Akon didn't really set foot behind bars. Usually that's the kinda info you want to boast about – yea man, I never went to jail, clean as a pair of socks just outta the laundromat. Seems a bit lame to fabricate jailbird stories. Wonder if he had a fake tattoo done as well? Aah, the pressure to fit in! |
